My name is Benjamin Wilson

I'm from Kalispell Montana

I'm not sure if i have a specific favorite artist, but right now i am really into the illustrator Alex Pardee, and the graff. artist The Mac, both of them are extremely innovative and inspiring for me, but i also respect all forms of art including the Sisteen Chapel from Michelangelo, and the tessalations from M.C.Escher. One of my all time favorite artists is Alex Grey. If you are not aware of who these people are you need to google them .

My main source of inspiration is from music, along with my thoughts, experiences, and interests that pertain to life.

Materials? Its hard to say i use the pilot 0.5 for my pen ink drawings, but i have been doing lots of acrylic lately. I'm at a very basic level when it comes to cans but i wanna start bombing in areas where it is not going to negatively effect some one or their property. I've painted on wood,canvas, canvas board, cupboards, walls, and old pictures that have had someone elses paintings on them. Oh and old street signs people have found, I will pretty much work on anything, don't ever limit yourself on what you can use.

The black and white thing is funny, I'm red green color blind, and my grandmother claims that this is the reason for all the black and white.The truth is i love pencil always have and always will, the pens were just an easy for me to create a new style and look clean.Then i got board and staarted mixing pen colored pencil and regular pencil. I'm getting into color alot now and am excited for my next show at a local coffee shop where all of my color pieces will be shown.

While my art is up in January 2010 i will be taking pics of all the new paintings and posting them online.
